On Saturday, March 30th West Coast Kurse U18 Girls faced SF United in a home State Cup match in Tracy Ca. A shot by #22 Makeila Yancey with a clever ricochet off Monique Reil’s put the WCS Kurse up 1- 0 in the sixth minute. SF were able to tie things up with a goal of their own shortly after but a well placed corner kick by Kaya Scott and a full volley by Alina Garcia resulted in a second goal to put WCS back in the lead 2-1. Some solid play and combinations in the second half from Katie Reid to Kaya Scott led to a goal resulted in a 3- 1 victory and moving West Coast Kurse on in State Cup. 

Sunday, March 31st 2019:

Riding high after the previous day’s State Cup victory, the girls of WCS hosted Delta Force for a spring league game. Delta took the lead with the first goal, but WCS answered with an assist from Ella Ferrick to Maddie Herrera to tie the game. Kaya Scott scored in a breakaway that put WCS in the lead 2-1. Delta scored twice more for a final score WCS 2 Delta Force 3.
