Looking to maintain their undefeated record in NorCal NPL 05 Champions League, West Coast Soccer Club’s Wildkatz 05 Girls met San Francisco Elite Academy 05 on Saturday, April 7th.  The last time these two teams met, it was a close and physical contest with Wildkatz taking the 1-0 win in the championship game at the 1018 MVLA Fall Cup tournament.  Wildkatz dominated play early by taking many shots on goal and kept the ball on SF’s side on the pitch most of the half.  WCS forward Kamiryn Grimes found the net first as she sent the ball past SF GK.  Grimes with a tremendous second effort would score again to end the first half of play with a 2-0 Wildkatz lead. Karlee Lywandowsky start the scoring in the second half of the match with a drive through a swarm of SF defenders and a shot to the back of the net.  Lywandowsky wasn’t finished yet and would find the net again minutes later to give Wildkatz a 4-0 lead. A corner kick from Lywandowsky landed perfectly for Cameron Silva who volleyed the ball past SF’s keeper giving West Coast a 5-0 lead. Moments later Silva dribbled the ball down the pitch, around several SF defenders and made a run to goal and sent a shot into the upper corner of the net. Wildkatz defense continued to dominate play and SF was limited to very few shots on goal throughout the match.  With just minutes left to play, a foul was called outside Wildkatz goal box, SF sent a high ball into the goal, the match would end with a 6-1 victory for West Coast Wildkatz and help them

Remain the only undefeated team in NorCal NPL with just four matches left to play. Next up for Wildkatz is NorCal State Cup Knockout round where they will meet Central California Soccer Alliance in Turlock on April 14th.
