This past Saturday, West Coast Soccer's 06 Girls Pre-NPL team Krossfire took to the pitch against their cross-town rival Livermore Fusion. Fusion was eyeing to steal a victory. "They showed a different look running with a 1- 3-5-2, making it difficult for us to get anything going in the middle of the field." said coach Marlon Fernandez. Fusion would keep the Krossfire attack at bay until the 23rd minute when Madylin Harrell intercepted a Fusion clearance, passing to Payten English and then to Payton Hoover who put Krossfire up 1-0. English would add a second Krossfire goal, knocking in a pass from Alana Albarran. Fusion would answer back, quickly knocking in a goal of their own. Krossfire would go into the half with a 2-1 lead.

Fusion would continue to disrupt the Krossfire offense throughout the second half. With only a couple minutes left, Hoover took a ball down the outside edge and crossed it over to Ava Coverdale who knocked in the insurance goal. Krossfire would hold on and take the 3-1 win.

Through 5 NorCal Premier League spring games, Krossfire is 5-0 with 25 goals for and only 3 against. Next up for Krossfire is a pair of spring league games on the road against Mavericks 06 Black and Elite Soccer 06G Orange.
