West Coast Kaos U16G – The West Coast Kaos U16 girls moved up in the NPL ranks this weekend with key victories.  On Saturday they beat out the California Thorns and on Sunday they had a huge 4-0 shutout win over Mustang Elite.

On Saturday, Kaos beat the California Thorns 1-0 in NPL 1 league play.  The only goal in the match came at the 15 minute mark from Forward Madison Del Prado.  Del Prado dribbled around the Thorns defense and nailed a shot into the right corner of the net.

On Sunday, in the much anticipated match between the top two teams in the league, Kaos came out firing. Kaos scored first at the 5 minute mark from Forward Anaya Shelton, who received a perfectly placed pass from Del Prado.  The second goal of the match was another Del Prado to Shelton combination.  The half ended with Kaos up 2-0.

In the first ten minutes of the second half, outside defender Maddie Long connected to Del Prado who found the right side of the Mustang goal.  Mustang had a few opportunities to answer but all offensive attempts went wide of their mark.  Kaos sealed the deal with a fourth goal at the 70th minute from Del Prado.

Kaos has four games left in league play.  Knocking off the top team gives Kaos a great opportunity to finish at the top and an opportunity to play in the Champions League next fall.  Kaso is also one of four teams remaining in the Norcal State Cup competition.

Kaos has had an amazing 2018 – 2019 season with a national championship trophy, a Surf Cup championship, and an undefeated Silverlakes showcase competition. You can follow West Coast Soccer Club and team Kaos at www.westcoastsoccerclub.com  and on Facebook and Twitter.
