West Coast Soccer 07 girls Kryptonite team starts off the fall season undefeated. West Coast newly formed 07G Kryptonite team start off the fall league with an undefeated 3-0-2 record. With 11 new players rostered for the year it hasn’t taken long for coach Dayak to work his magic transforming this group of young aspiring soccer players into a successful team. Dayak usually takes the youngest age college recruitable team at the club, this year it's the 07G Kryptonite team. Due to 2020 pandemic the 07 age group was very small, often times the team had to borrow players from the younger age group to field a team to play on the weekend. A lot has changed in a year with 11 new players earning a spot on the GA roster of 18. After forming the roster the team started building towards the future as they attended their first GA college showcase in Southern California. During the summer break the overhauled 07 team started putting pieces of the puzzle together and through solid leadership, team bonding events and a CalNorth Beach Sand Soccer State Cup Champion Title the team was off and running.

“A lot of time went into building a solid foundation for this group, we have some cornerstone returning players along with some new local talent that we believe is putting the team on the right path” said troy Dayak, West Coast Soccer’s Director and coach for the 07, 06 and 05 girls age groups.

The 07 team opened up their GA season with a great 3-1 come from behind victory over rival Santa Clara Sporting GA. Often making key adjustments at halftime the team has responded well in keeping their unbeaten streak alive. During NorCal’s NPL opener the Kryptonite took on a talented Stockton Storm at home in Livermore in a 1-1 draw. The team then traveled to Fresno and earned a delightful 7-0 victory over CCSA- Central California Soccer Alliance. This past weekend Kryptonite posted an impressive 3-1 win over Sacramento United GA. Jariah Indalecio scored two assisted by Kaylee Meeks -Harris and Jayden Reynolds. Reynolds also put in a third goal with a great long shot to seal the game. Strong play by Haven Little, Amanda Robertson, Athena Taylor, Sofia Herrera, Fayth Delong, Nylah Trais helped shut down the opposition attack while midfielders Giovana Peralta, Odyssey Perez, Kyra Binstock, Kiara Walker, Emma Price, Jacklyn Gregory, Kendall Shetter, & Madden Black patrolled the rest of the massive 120 yard by 80-yard field. On Sunday the team went down 0-1 in the first half vs Diablo Wolves but in true team spirit came back with a nice goal by Indalecio assisted by Gregory to get the tie in State Cup Group play. The 07 Kryptonite travel to Fresno again this weekend to play GA fixture against Clovis Crossfire.
