This past weekend West Coast hosted Newark FC in an NPL match. Ten minutes into the game Madelynn Hernandez dribbled the ball up the field and crossed it into Megan Silva who shot and scored the first goal of the game. Four minutes later Ashley Browning got the ball, shot and scored. Seven minutes later Silva got her second goal giving West Coast a 3-0 lead. Twenty-six minutes into the first half Newark received a free kick which got them their first goal of the game. The half ended 3-1. Eight minutes into the second half Izabella Arellano passed the ball to Hernandez who dribbled to goal and scored. Just two minutes later Savannah Williams scored, assisted by Katelyn Adkins. Minutes later Newark received a goal. In the sixty first minute Hernandez connected the ball to Silva again for another West Coast goal. Four minutes later Alivia Narducc-Chiunti saved a shot on goal but was called for a foul. Newark scored their third goal off of a penalty kick. With two minutes left in the game, Newark had a shot on goal and scored. The game ended with Wolfpack defeating Newark FC 6-4.
