UNDEFEATED West Coast 2013 Green Crowned Champions

West Coast 2013 Green went undefeated and were crowned as champions (Silver 1) in 2023 Nor Cal Spring League over last weekend. It was time for dog piles and ole ole chants as the girls celebrated their victory over Piedmont SC Highlanders that opened up a 4 point lead in the league table with 1 game left. Topping the league table never came easy for the girls as they battled out strong competition from across the region.
 
West Coast 2013 girls have kept a record of 7-0 during the league season topping the charts with most goals scored (40+ goals) and grabbing all 3 points in each of their games. 
The team, made up of talented young players from across Tracy & MountainHouse neighborhoods put on a strong display throughout the league, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and determination to come out on top. 
 
Speaking after the championship win, coach Arturo Colmonero praised the players for their dedication and said, “There is a great journey ahead for these girls.” Mr.Colmonero stated "Proud to be part of helping these girls grow as young ladies and soccer players. They started to do things that we have been working on in practice for close to a month. So exciting; they are now a 3 out of 10 in terms of where I can get them in the next few years"
 
The team's players were similarly ecstatic about their title win, with many expressing their gratitude to their coach, their families, and their teammates for their support and encouragement. It is the 4th championship that 2013 girls have scaled in past 6 months and it surely is a sign of good things to happen in future for them.
 
The victory is a testament to the talent and hard work of these young players, and is sure to inspire many other young girls across the city to pursue their dreams of playing soccer at the highest level.
