This past weekend West Coast Soccer Club hosted Santa Clara Sporting in the Girls Academy (GA) fixture at Legacy Fields, in Tracy. This fixture consisted of six top level National League games being played, two at a time, back to back to back. 2010 and 2007 GA age group teams started of the day side by side at 9:00am. The end result for the 2007s was a 2-0 victory with goals scored by local player (Mountain House HS) Jayden Rynolds and Isabella Tognolini scored the second to seal the 2-0 shutout. The 2010s tied 1-1 with Skylar Burford scoring the equalizer.

At 11:00am the second fixture games were the 2008 and 2011 GA teams. The 2008s won their game 2-1 with Aliya Lopez and Elise Trevino being the goal scorers. And the 2011s had an astounding victory of 7-0 with goals scored by Adisyn Quadros (3), Capri Spycher (2), Mila Apodaca (1), and Diana Real (1).

The final GA Fixture games of the day, the 2009s and 2006/05s, played at 1:00pm. The 2009s won their game 4-0 with the goal scorers being Makayla Nenonene (2), Madelynn Hernandez, and Yazmin Karcher. The 2006s earned a 2-0 victory with goals scored by Hayden Crotty Romero and Olivia Maragos, leaving West Coast Soccer Club GA undefeated across the board this weekend. The club’s next GA fixture will be next Sunday in Fresno vs Clovis Crossfire GA. Coach Troy Dayak says “Our West Coast Soccer GA teams have some of the very best soccer players in the San Joaquin area. It’s a pleasure coaching players that want to push themselves and compete at a national level and help them on their journey for a college soccer pathway.”
