Congratulations to West Coast Soccer player Kayla Umana on signing her National Letter of Intent as a scholarship student athlete to play college soccer at Stanislaus State University. Kayla has rapidly become one of the most sought after recruits in our club. Her drive and motivation to hold a high standard for herself and others is exceptional. Kayla recently helped her West Coast Krossfire team secure the NorCal ECNL-RL League Championship.

“Kayla is a pleasure to coach, she always is the life of all that surrounds her, I call her Momma Kayla because she looks after everyone, and everyone respects her so much -a complete team player! It was so much fun having Kayla go with us to the Women’s World Cup in Australia. Kayla will be joining Stan State where she will reunite with many other West Coast Alumni, I’m sure she will be a great fit” -coach Troy Dayak

“Kayla is amazing at setting goals and crushing them. She’s known since a very young age that she’s wanted to play soccer in college. Kayla has worked extremely hard, put in the extra hours and realized her dream! In 2022, Kayla switched to West Coast Soccer Club and it was the perfect time to elevate her game. Thank you to Coach Troy and the entire staff for coaching Kayla up and giving her new opportunities. We are grateful for her soccer community including past, present & future teammates, coaches, and the whole West Coast Soccer Club. We look forward to watching Kayla finish out a strong season with WC Krossfire and then onto California State University, Stanislaus in the fall of 2024. We are beyond proud of Kayla and can’t wait to see where her hard work & determination takes her!”
