Congratulations to Jayden Reynolds on committing to play college soccer at UC Merced as a student athlete. Jayden is a long time West Coast Soccer Club player. She has the distinction as the first player committed for UC Merced as they move from NAIA to a NCAA Division 2 College Soccer Program.
“We are very proud of Jayden and her soccer journey with us, her parents Jamie and Jeff have always believed in West Coast and have been huge supporters. Jayden has a way at finding the net with her scrappy play and cannon shot! We know when Jayden is on the field whether from a free kick , corner kick or in the run of play we always have a chance to score. It’s been a pleasure coaching her for these past few years, all of our coaches and staff are excited to be able to continue to watch Jayden play college soccer close to home. Best wishes Jayden on your soccer journey” -Coach Troy Dayak West Coast Soccer, Director of Coaching.
“I’m so incredibly thankful and excited to announce my commitment to UC Merced to further academic and athletic career. I’ve always known that I wanted to continue my career at the next level and I thank Coach Roman for believing me and giving me this opportunity. West Coast has been home for years and I am so thankful for all my coaches and teammates who have pushed me and made me better. Thank you Coach Troy for all of your guidance and support throughout the years and helping me become the player I am today. Thank you Becky for always taking care of us girls and thank you Coach Maha for always keeping us in check and making us laugh. And thank you to my mom and dad for always helping me reach my goals and pushing me to become a better player and person (and also driving me all over the place) I wouldn’t be where I am without you.” -Jayden Reynolds
“We are grateful to West Coast Soccer Club for all the great opportunities and memories made over the years. Jay started with WCS when she was 7 years old and she is an original 2007 team member. It’s hard to believe that she is now in her senior year soccer season. We have always known that we wanted Jay to play for Troy, he has provided her his soccer expertise and given her the exposure needed to be seen by college coaches. We are thankful for getting to watch our girl play the game she loves and develop into a player ready for the college level. Thank You WCS!!! Jayden- words can’t describe how proud we are of you! You have put in the work, you planned it, you dreamed it, and you went out and achieved it! Mom and dad are so glad we got a front row seat and will always be your biggest fans. We love you! Go #3 and Future Bobcat!!!!!!” -Jamie and Jeff Reynolds
