Congratulations to Addison Sanchez on committing to play college soccer at Fresno State as a student athlete!
“I am so incredibly excited and blessed to announce my commitment to play D1 soccer at Fresno State. I am so grateful for my family, coaches, teammates, surgeon, and physical therapy team. I couldn’t be where I am today without them. Thank you Coach Troy and Becky for taking me in freshman year and believing in me and pushing me. Thank you to my parents for being committed to taking me to Tracy 3+ days a week and for always supporting me and helping me be the best person I can be. And thank you to the rest of the WCS coaches that have also helped me along the way. I am so ecstatic for this next step in my soccer journey and can’t wait to see what God brings to the table. Thank you to everyone that has been there for me along the way. Can’t wait to continue my athletic and academic career at Fresno State!
The comeback is always stronger than the setback - Lionel Messi” -Addison Sanchez
“Addison Sanchez is an unstoppable force on the pitch—a powerful and athletic striker whose presence alone can change the momentum of any game. Known affectionately as “Hattie Addie,” she lives up to the name with her uncanny ability to find the back of the net again and again, often racking up hat tricks with a level of consistency that is nothing short of remarkable.
Addison combines raw physical strength with elite technical skill. Her explosive speed, sharp footwork, and fierce shot make her a constant threat in the attacking third. Defenders struggle to keep up with her, and goalkeepers never get a moment to relax when she’s anywhere near the box.
More than just a goal scorer, Addison brings fire, leadership, and a relentless work ethic to every match. Her competitive spirit is contagious, and her drive to win elevates the entire team. Whether she’s powering through the defense or finishing with finesse, “Hattie Addie” is the kind of player every coach dreams of having and every opponent dreads facing.” -Coach Troy Dayak
“Troy Dayak and the West Coast soccer family has given our daughter the opportunity to chase her dreams on the soccer field beyond anything we could have imagined. From the beginning Addison was welcomed with open arms into a system of professional accountability on the practice field in preparation for games. Finding an organization that creates growth opportunities amongst developing players is what stood out when Addison joined West Coast. Addison noticed it and took it as a sign of knowing this is the right place for her. Even when Addison suffered a potentially career ending injury. Coach Troy and the West Coast family was there for her. She wanted to come back not only for herself, but for the team and Coach Troy. Addison began a new chapter in her journey that was extremely hard, but the love for the game and her West Coast family made it so much easier. Being able to show those West Coast teammates and everyone else how she’s just getting started! This is what Fresno State noticed about Addison too. Understanding you have a gift is common, but finding someone who can provide the right environment and spotlight is special. Thank you Coach Troy and the ENTIRE West Coast family for everything!!! We are beyond blessed and so proud to be a part of the West Coast soccer family. Go Dogs!” -Michael and Andrea Sanchez
