The West Coast 08 Kraze had an unforgettable weekend, earning two commanding victories — a 6–0 NPL win over Stockton Storm on Saturday, followed by a 13–0 State Cup triumph against Dublin United on Sunday.
Saturday’s NPL match set the tone early, as the Kraze came out sharp and disciplined against a tough Stockton Storm side. Jada Hart led the way with two goals, assisted by Lillian Cooke and Aliya Lopez. Danielle Rey added two of her own, capitalizing on setups from Aliya Lopez and goalkeeper Avery Gleason, whose precise long ball sparked one of the scores. Sawyer Stark rounded out the attack with two goals, assisted by Gio Peralta and Kylie Brasil, sealing a convincing 6–0 win.
The strong team play and chemistry carried into Sunday’s State Cup matchup against Dublin United, where the Kraze delivered an even more dominant performance — a 13–0 victory that showcased their offensive depth and defensive strength.
Jada Hart once again stole the spotlight, netting five goals in a stunning display of finishing. Adding to the scoring surge were Lillian Cooke, Mackenzie Johnston, Gio Peralta, Kylie Brasil, Maddie Mckiernan, Kiara Walker, Athina Anowia, and Anna Mendoza, proving that this Kraze roster can produce goals from every position.
Assists came from all over the field, with Danielle Rey, Mackenzie Johnston, Kylie Brasil, Athina Anowia, and Claire Gornik all contributing to the offensive flow. Aliya Lopez and Sawyer Stark provided constant energy in the attack, keeping Dublin’s defense under relentless pressure.
Defensively, the Kraze were just as impressive. Brooklyn Cornish, Claire Gornik and Rachel Warter anchored a composed back line, while Avery Gleason earned her second shutout of the weekend with confident saves and smart distribution.
The Kraze went into halftime up 3–0 but were challenged in the second half by injuries that sidelined key players. Instead of backing down, the team responded with grit and focus. Coach Dayak told his players, “The way to get back at them is not to retaliate—but to put it in the back of the net for those who got taken out.” The message hit home, and the Kraze poured in ten more goals before the final whistle.
Two games, 19 goals scored, none conceded — a weekend that perfectly captured what this West Coast 08 Kraze team is all about: skill, composure, teamwork, and championship mentality.
