West Coast Soccer's premier 06 Girls team, Krossfire, traveled to San Lorenzo to take on Tecos. WCS U13 Krossfire sprung into action from the opening whistle with pinpoint accuracy, Gianna Ramirez connected a pass to Payton Hoover who put Krossfire up 1-0 in just the second minute of the game. Madeline Snodgress then connected with Gianna to put Krossfire up 2-0. Hoover and Alana Albarran would each add goals to give Krossfire the 4-0 lead at half. The second half West Coast kept the pressure on as Albarran added her second goal, connecting with a pass from Gianna to fire one past the Tecos goalkeeper. Tecos did not give up and were able to knock in two quick scores to cut the Krossfire lead to 5-2. The Krossfire defense sparked and would not allow any more shots, while goalkeeper Jennessa Maselli helped organize the back line. Gianna add a late WCS goal to secure a 6-2 victory. Next up for West Coast Krossfire is a NorCal State Cup round 1 match against Walnut Creek 06G Blue.
