This past Saturday, the West Coast Karma 03 Girls team beat San Ramon FC 3-0 in a State Premiere match played at Rancho San Ramon Park. The match went back and forth until Kylee Gregory started the scoring on a nice shot from just outside the eighteen putting West Coast up 1-0. Fifteen minutes later, West Coast Karma took a 2-0 lead by Sophia Piper. Karma took the 2-0 lead into halftime.  In the second half, San Ramon came out strong, but Karma held them off and midway through the second half, scored their third goal of the game by Jessie Sotelo. The goal was scored from the left side of the penalty area and was placed with precision inside the back post. The shutout was completed by a strong back line consisting of Ycela Ochoa, Chloe Ironside, Maddie Long, Kelsey Brum and Kelsey Sako. Controlling the midfield was Melanie Nguyen, Francesca Pereira, Kylee Gregory and Makaela Cordero and strong play up top by Allison Rickman.
