The West Coast Krush 05 Girls team remains on top of NorCal Fall League after their third consecutive win of the season, this time with a 4-1 victory over Piedmont SC Highland 05G this past Saturday. Krush demonstrated great teamwork throughout the game with strong passing and communication, capped off with four separate players scoring.

Four minutes into the game Paige McLean chipped Brooke Gale’s throw-in up to Hailey Rodaer, Rodaer out ran Piedmont’s defenders and shot the ball into the far side of the net for goal one.  The roles were reversed a short time later when Rodaer fed the ball to McLean, who’s shot tipped off the goalie’s outreaching hands and into the goal. Krush went up 3-0 two minutes later when Jadynn King intercepted a pass and blasted a shot from over 20 yards out into the top corner. Piedmont scored before the end of the first half, but Krush put the game away in the second half with their fourth, and final goal of the game. Lauren Stoneberger received a Piedmont goal kick, chipping the ball up to King, King split two Piedmont midfielders on a short pass to Rodaer, who then passed the ball to Kayla Robinson. Robinson charged at the goal and shot the ball low into the corner of the goal, securing the victory for Krush. Final score 4-1 West Coast

Krush returns to State Cup play this weekend with two games in Livermore.
