WCS Kurse 02/01 girls, a Premier level team, faced off against RAGE, an ECNL top team Sunday morning in Pleasanton. What should have been a lopsided competition deemed to be otherwise. Kurse was tasked with playing against some players that have already committed to D1 college soccer programs.  Kurse is a development team behind West Coast Soccer Wildfire NPL 01 & Warriors NPL 02 who currently have numerous D1 and D2 committed players. WCS Kurse is a mixture of ages that have found a strong team dynamic, the players range from freshman in high school to seniors and are playing against full 01 birth year seniors on a regular basis. Through obstacles and adversity WCS Kurse keeps improving and showing they are competitive.  Kurse has been playing against teams that are three levels higher in division and keeping games to 1-2 goal differential and scoring on opponents. The victory on the day might not have been on Kurse’s side but it certainly has been for their players and club. Currently there are four players that have college interest on West Cost Kurse and the team is gearing up for the prestigious SilverLakes College Showcase in November.    Pictured is Monique Reil from West Coast Kurse who currently has Indiana Tech University calling for her.
