Saturday, at Cayetano Park in Livermore, Wicked played North Coast FC 04 NPL in a group play of state cup, Kailey Matta found the net off a cross from Aryana Jones to take the win 1-0. On Sunday, West Coast Wicked had another home game in Livermore facing off against Mavericks 04 Black. It wasn't until the second half that Wicked broke the defense with great pressure and passing. Wicked’s Makeila Yancey passed a perfect ball to Ella Ferrick who struck a beautiful shot from the top of the box for the second 1-0 shutout victory of the weekend. With the two wins, Wicked took 1st place in their State Cup group play and will move on as top seed in round two.
