West Coast Wildfire 00 Girls are sitting at the top of Norcal State Cup group play after two games.

Wildfire met up with Marin FC Red at Cayetano Park in Livermore for a home match Saturday afternoon. Tatianna Elsea got things started with a solid low corner shot to giving West Coast the lead.  Midfields Meredith Hagler, Mckenna Diaz, Daniella Vallejo, Jessa Lyons and precious Martinez began to gain momentum and set up multiple opportunities for forwards Megan Clifton, Dakota Hawkins, Savannah Boone and Savannah Seals. Solid defensive play from defenders Regan Mah, Isabella Saavedra, Katherine Aurea, Kate Wallace and GK Callie Crain led the first half with a shutout.

Wildfire kept the game out of reach with a tactical adjustment that freed up Savannah Seals who steamed up the side line to score and go up 2-0.  A miss clearance from West Coast GK was converted for a Marin score making it a 2-1 game. Wildfire finished out strong to put West Cost in the drivers seat and at the top of group play with one more game remaining.
