West Coast Kaos U16 girls cruised to the top of their Norcal Premier state cup preliminary round with 3 impressive wins.  The girls beat out Marin FC Red 5-0.  They followed this win with an 8-0 romp over Pleasanton Rage. Then closed out the series with a 7-0 victory over Impact.

In Sunday’s match vs Impact, Kaos started slow playing mostly defense as they figured out their opponent.  The first goal of the match came at the 15-minute mark from Forward Maddie Del Prado who charged up the middle to go one on one with the Impact Keeper.   The second goal was scored from a long shot by right Defender, Alyssa Williams.  The half ended with Kaos up 2-0.  After a half-time pep talk from Coach Troy Dayak, Kaso came out on all cylanders.  Goal three came within the first 10 minutes from Anaya Shelton with Haylee Heffner assisting.  Shelton scored again minutes later.  The fifth goal of the match came from Midfield, Kate Zeck, who launched a set piece shot that bounced up and over the reach of the Impact Keeper.  Goal six came from Jordyn Silver with an assist from Alivia Ganz.  The final goal and a credited hat trick came from Anays Shelton with an assist from Del Prado.

The 20 Kaos goals and assists are credited to Forwards and Mid-fielders: Alivia Ganz, Alina Garcia, Haylee Heffner, Mariya Hinojosa, Maddie Del Prado, Daisy Samuelson, Anaya Shelton, Jordyn Silva and Kate Zeck.  Ganz, Del Prado, and Shelton each earned hat tricks.

The three shutouts are credited to Goal Keeper Maddie Mannina and Defenders: Alondra Higareda, Kiara Rodriguez, Jayden Sanders, Peyton Wooten, and Alyssa Williams.

Kaos also competes in the Norcal Premier NPL 1 division.  They are currently undefeated after their first two matches.  In the next few weeks, Kaos will participate in three college showcases before they break for high school soccer.
