Boys U10 Aftershocks won the Santa Cruz Classic two day tournament on Sept 28/29 in dramatic fashion.  After winning their first two games on Saturday 4-1 and 7-1, Aftershock played a tough home team Santa Cruz Sharks on Sunday morning, loosing a heart-breaker 0-1.  Thinking they were out, the team was packing up when they learned they made the final on points system and would face the same Sharks team in a rematch in the Final!  That game was a battle on both sides, with the Aftershocks down 1-2 at halftime but  they came storming back, taking a 3-2 lead with two minutes remaining.  West Coast Soccer Aftershocks played equally strong on offense and defense throughout the weekend, out scoring their opponents 14-5 overall, with dramatic saves and support in goal by JJ Medina, Noah Miller, Tyler Plunkett and Owen Amos.  Aftershock defense allowed very few shots on goal, including solid hustle by Jaymeson Caoili , Cole Wilson, Gabe Dael, Matthew Dael, Cruz Legoretta, Adrian McCall and Malakai Gonzales.   WCS offense was highlighted by great ball control and passing with goals by Tyler Plunkett  (3), Gab Dael (2), Cole Wilson(2), Aiden Lopez (2), Matthew Richardson, JJ Medina and Lucas Boosahda with an “own goal” off a corner kick by Gabe Dael!  West Coast Boys U11 Magnitude also won first place in the same tournament, and the West Coast Boys U12 Earthquakes won the Pleasanton Fall Harvest Classic overall three tournament champions for the boys of West Coast. 

The 2010 West Coast Aftershocks started the fall season off with a hard fought win in their first State Cup qualifying game against Pacific SC Santos in Lodi.  Aftershocks struck first with a breakaway goal by Jaymeson Caoili taking them into half time up 1-0.  Pacific scored early in the second half tying the game up at one a piece. West Coast did not let up and fired back with a goal from Lucas Boosahda assist from Matthew Richardson but Pacific scored off a penalty kick shortly after.  Not willing to settle for a tie Aiden Lopez scored with an assist from Lucas Boosahda and a final unassisted goal by Matthew Richardson sealed the victory in the last three minutes for the 4-2 win. JJ Medina, Adrian McCall and Gabe Dael helped lock the defense for the Aftershock allowing very few shots on goal and Noah Miller held strong in goal with several crucial saves. 

West Coast Soccer Aftershock sealed their first State Cup victory of 2019.
